Brownfield sites are properties that are, or may be, contaminated with hazardous substances and are either sitting idle or are underutilized. They threaten the environment, drain the economy and spoil quality of life. New Jersey is burdened with more than 10,000 Brownfield projects.
We value the community-- and our redevelopment of numerous Brownfield projects reflect these values. We help protect the environment and preserve open space and every acre of Brownfield redevelopment spares 4.5 acres of pristine land from development. Redevelopment also boosts local tax revenue, creates jobs and improves the quality of life for area residents. Our most recent project encompasses a three-building complex of approximately 825,000 square feet in Clifton, N.J.. We’ve also completed Redevelopment in Edison, Teterboro and Newark, New Jersey , creating new industrial developments in excess of 2 million square feet. In 1991, we also completed a Brownfield project which involved the total redevelopment of a manufacturing facility to a 466 apartment complex in N.J., improving the quality of life for local residents. |
